Dear John Key, Prime Minister of NZ
Thank you for the $520 gift to my KiwiSaver superannuation fund. I got the good news in the mail today.
I do not need the money and will be donating it to those who like to make the world a better place for everyone, not just for their rich friends and Young Nats.
I’m pretty sure you are part of the 1%. I might be too, but I’m not sure. In any case, do you think you could alter the superannuation and welfare system so that rich people like you and me don’t keep getting richer while the poor get poorer? And please stop telling lies saying it ain’t so – we all know it is.
You could start by making sure you don’t give me a superannuation gift next year, if you’re still around after the 20 September election, that is. You could also stop rich New Zealanders getting the age pension when they don’t need it. I’m sure that although they’ve ‘worked hard all their life’ they won’t mind sharing their wealth.
Oh, and while you’re at it, could you please manage the economy properly instead of just trading on your reputation for managing the economy?
